modleing finials


All my modles are finsihed and textutaed i am very happy with what the final part looks like this was quite a tuff assassinment as what i had to make had some very difficulte parts to it but the finshed product looks very good and it works very well with the water i mayde last week i have created a few diffrent colour sceams for the boats and they all look very nice.






Makeing water




this is the water i made with some help of our tutor how it was created was a plain with a noise modifier apllied to it thats what gives it the nice wave effect to it the once this was done i applied a texta to it this what gave it its colour and its glosseness

once the water was complite i added a omni light to see how this would effect the water it gave it a very nice effect but also turned the sceen very dark this would look very good for a night scence


all in all this came out very well and will look really good on our animation

water , boat and other things

This week we learned how to use the reaction tool there where quite a few things that could be done with it and many of them will be useful when it comes to the full animation. the main thing we where using was the reactor tool how this works is by making a normal shape then adding it to a group once this is done you can open the reactor this gives the shape a mass and effected gravity this can be risky when you want the object to do something specific for example we made a ball smash threw a few blocks but the angle kept making the ball fall the wrong way. this is an example of using the reaction tool , as you can see the reaction tool has its own render ea as well as its own engine it uses the havoc engine. i have made a lot of progress with my boat model all that needs to be done now is it need to be modified for the final animation so it can look like lots of different ships for next week want to have it all sorted
