this is the frist thing you see in the animtion after the introduction it starts off with a wide shot of the hawin iland then rooms closer into pearl harbour then goes into ground level and zooms in ferther to ford iland

this is when the japaness fly into pearl harbour to bergin with its a normal day then the plaines start comeing in then the camra looks strate up to show all the planes flying over head the idea is to show the start of the attack from the ground level

smoothing

The second thing we had to do today was smoothing with this is proper controled smoothing not with tubo smoothing once sorted it was quite fun to use to make diffrent things. what we were shown was how to add two diffrent smoothing groups to diffrent parts of an object how this is done is by clicking on a group of pickles then ansighing witch group you want it to be in. once this is done you ativate the smoothing

simple buildings

In today's tutorial we were creating simple building's and smoothing. What this involved was turning a square into a building the process of this was quite simple. First try came out little wrong but the second attempted was much better. I decided not to stop at something simple and tried to make something a bit more in trusting and just kept adding things to it like more windows and extend the original building. This is what I created  

 

as you can see its trying to be a caravan of some kind this wasn't my original idea, but after mucking around with it this is what came out i am quite pleased with it the windows are made by adding the pixels the extruding them. i did some creative thinking and came up with this

i don't know what i was thinking when i turned it into a trailer park but i thought it was a good idea this was done with cloning, the green block was my first attempt at making the house i just added it in for a bit of extra detail.

history of pearl harbour

On December 7th 1941 the Japanese launched a surprise attacked on the American Navy paced at the Hawiian navel base of pearl harbour thousands died and but less had been injured this is what pushed the Americans into the second world war. The bombing raid started at 7:55am and lasted until 9:45am in that time total of 2,335 us service men had been killed.

Looking at the layout there were two parts to the base one part was on an island called Ford Island this was the naval air station. Where a large number of plains where held around ford island and of shore of it where most of the US navy fleet.They were kept wing tip two wing tip witch made them an easy target. The naval yard was on the main land along with the HQ and the submarine base. South of naval base was a US army air base

 

 

the main targets of the first wave of bombers was the airfield and the battleships. That where all in a line off shore of ford island. according to (histroy1900sabout.com) All eight U.S. battleships were either sunk or damaged during the attack. Amazingly, all but two (the Arizona and the Oklahoma) were eventually able to return to active duty.
